Ship Arrest in Turkey

Under Turkish Law arrest of ships is regulated in Turkish Commercial Code Nr. 6102 Art. 1352. Turkey is a state party to the 1999 Convention “International Convention on Arrest of Ships” (11/09/2019, Accession). The Provisions on arrest of ships in Turkish Commercial Code was drafted taking into account 1999 Convention.
